The accommodation was an authentic Japanese ryokan complete with tatami mat flooring and futon bedding. the staff was hospitable, friendly, and could communicate effectively in English. Meals served were a scrumptious Japanese, style fare consisting of seafood, meat, and vegetables, with soba. the onsen was a delightful highlight, with the outdoor onsen ensuring privacy and an intimate mountain view. the property also had an indoor onsen which provided for a great way to unwind and destress.
The Wi, Fi was not accessible in guest rooms but only limited to the common area.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Effort to communicate in English. Delicious and plentiful meals. Variety of food options. Beautiful outdoor onsens. Privacy in outdoor onsen. Relaxing indoor onsen.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

Great Japanese-style meals, friendly staff and relaxing onsens. I had a wonderful city break, trying a ryokan for the first time. The Japanese-style meals were delicious and offered a variety of choices. The location was perfect for exploring the area. The staff was very friendly and spoke English well, making my stay very comfortable. The onsens were the highlight of my trip, providing a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing.
No in-room WiFi, shared bathrooms and limited vegetarian options. Unfortunately, there was no in-room WiFi available, which made it difficult to stay connected.

We had a great stay at a hotel with friendly staff who spoke English well. The meals were delicious, with plenty of fish, meats, vegetables, and fruit. The hotel's onsens were fantastic, with an outdoor one providing beautiful views and privacy, and an indoor one perfect for relaxing.
Cannot find any fault.

The location of the hotel was great, with stunning views of the surrounding nature. the meals were delicious, especially the seafood dishes. the dinner and breakfast made me feel like a king and the mealtimes offered an opportunity to immerse myself in the culture. the traditional Japanese style room was comfortable and provided a unique experience.
There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms which was a disappointment, as it made it difficult to stay connected with family and friends during this Easter holiday. the shared bathroom was a bit inconvenient, especially during the morning rush.
